Dr. Smith, boasts a highly impressive record of achievement in both the academic and clinical arenas of pathology.
She has over 20 years of experience in the U.S. Army, including an
appointment as a professor of dermatology, Uniformed Services
University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD. Dr. Smith subsequently
served with distinction as Chief of Dermatopathology Training, University
of Alabama Birmingham School of Medicine - one of the South’s premier
research universities.
Currently, Dr. Smith - an active clinical dermatopathologist - serves as a clinical professor of dermatology at the prestigious Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA.
